As soon as you submit your request, the talent is notified straight away. They receive a notification letting them know a new request is waiting for them.
How long does the talent have?
Talent have up to 7 days from the time you place your order to complete or decline your request. Most talent complete videos well within this window, but the exact timing varies — each talent works at their own pace and manages their own schedule.
Does Cameo remind the talent?
Yes — Cameo sends reminder notifications to talent as your order approaches its expiry date, giving them the opportunity to complete or decline your request before the deadline.
What happens when the video is ready?
Once the talent completes your video, you'll receive an email notification from [email protected] with a link to your video. You can also find all your completed videos at any time at cameo.com/orders.
What if the talent doesn't complete the request?
If the talent doesn't complete your request within 7 days, your order will expire automatically and your payment will be refunded:
Cameo website: The hold on your payment is released within 5–7 business days. You were never actually charged.
Android app: A refund is issued automatically within 5–7 business days.
iOS app: Cameo credits are returned to your account automatically.
The talent may also choose to decline your request before it expires. The same refund process applies in that case.
Can I check on my order while I wait?
Yes — head to cameo.com/orders to see the current status of your request. If your order shows as Active, the talent has been notified and the request is still within its delivery window.
