Sorry to hear that! When a Cameo request expires, your payment is automatically refunded — you don't need to contact us to request it.
Here's what to expect depending on how you booked:
Cameo website: The hold on your payment method is released automatically. Allow 5–7 business days for it to clear, depending on your bank.
Android app: You'll receive a refund within 5–7 business days.
iOS app: Because purchases through the iOS app go directly through Apple, Cameo does not have access to your payment instrument to issue a refund. You'll receive Cameo credits back to your account automatically. If you'd prefer a cash refund instead, you can request one from Apple directly by logging into your Apple account at reportaproblem.apple.com, or by tapping the "Request refund" button next to your expired order on your Orders Page in the Cameo app. Once requested, you can check the status of your refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
