You can cancel your Cameo video request as long as the talent hasn't completed it yet.
To cancel:
Confirmation email: Click the modify link in your order confirmation email and select Cancel.
Cameo website: Go to cameo.com/orders, find your active request, and click Cancel order.
Cameo app: Tap Profile (bottom right) → Your Orders → open the request → scroll down → tap Cancel order.
What happens after you cancel
Cameo website: The hold on your payment method is released. Allow 5–7 business days for it to clear, depending on your bank.
Android app: You'll receive a refund within 5–7 business days.
iOS app: Because purchases through the iOS app go directly through Apple, Cameo does not have access to your payment instrument to issue a refund. You'll receive Cameo credits back to your account automatically. If you'd prefer a cash refund instead, you can request one from Apple directly by logging into your Apple account at reportaproblem.apple.com, or by tapping the "Request refund" button next to your canceled order on your Orders Page in the Cameo app. Once requested, you can check the status of your refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Common questions
Can I cancel after the talent has started filming? No — once a video is completed and delivered, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Can I modify my request instead of cancelling? Yes — use the Modify order option on your active request to update the instructions without cancelling.
The talent is taking too long — can I cancel? Yes, you can cancel any active request at any time before it's fulfilled. If the request window expires on its own, your refund is processed automatically.
