Because purchases made through the iOS Cameo app are processed directly by Apple, Cameo does not have access to your payment instrument and cannot issue a cash refund on your behalf. If you'd prefer a cash refund rather than Cameo credits, here's how to request one through Apple.
Option 1 — Request through the Cameo app
Open the Cameo app and go to My Orders.
Find the order you'd like a refund for (it must be cancelled, declined, or expired).
Tap the "Request refund" button next to the order.
Follow the prompts to submit your refund request to Apple.
Option 2 — Request through Apple directly
Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Find the Cameo purchase you want to refund.
Select "Request a refund" and follow Apple's instructions.
You can check the status of your refund at reportaproblem.apple.com at any time.
How long does the refund take?
Apple typically processes refund requests within a few business days. The refund will be returned to your original Apple payment method.
