When will I be charged for my Cameo video?

When you are charged depends on how you placed your order:

  • Cameo website: A hold is placed on your payment method when you book — but you are not charged yet. The charge is only captured once the talent delivers the completed video. If the order expires, is declined, or is cancelled, the hold is simply released and you are never charged.

  • Android app: Payment is processed at the time of booking. If the order expires, is declined, or is cancelled, a refund is issued automatically within 5–7 business days.

  • iOS app: Payment is processed through Apple at the time of booking. If your order expires, is declined, or is cancelled, you'll receive Cameo credits back to your account automatically. If you'd prefer a cash refund instead, you can request one from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com, or by tapping the "Request refund" button next to the order on your Orders Page in the Cameo app.
